Amalgamated Additives, Clayton Jct, Missouri - "We add everything but nutrition."
Located next to Pillsbury Mills. Makers of non-nutritive cereal crunch additives and other cancer-causing food preservatives.
Arrow Manufacturing of Valley Park, Missouri - "If it's not an arrow, you're missing the point."
The company's founder, Alexander Newton Arrow came up with this slogan in 1926. Arrow receives shipments of metal, paint, parts, and other materials and turns them into bright yellow farm wagons. Two sidings serve the plant.
Webster Electric - "We're Connected to Quality."
Another industry named for a fellow modeler; Webster's primary business is manufacturing electric motors for the U.S. automotive industry (which was still thriving in the 1960's and 1970's). Mostly boxcars and coil-cars can be found on Webster siding, located just west of Clayton Jct.
